Hi, we recently opened a restaurant where we add a service charge to every bill as tips for our staff. What would be the best way to add cash tip amounts for a day and then automatically split the cash tips and service charge we get each day among the employees who worked that day.

Have you set your tipping preferences in Staff > Settings > Tips? It sounds like tip-pooling may be a good option here.
If the tip distribution options don't work, it's going to have to be a fully manual process, unfortunately. Service charges aren't meant to be used as tips, so there it's an automated process for splitting it and adding in the cash.

Hi @Breffni thanks for the response. I selected an option that considers service charge as tips. Looks like a manual process then, because I wanted to add up service charge as well as cash tips received to then calculate the totally to be distributed evenly to staff
