What exactly does a factory reset on my square terminal do?
If I do a factory reset on my square terminal, in hopes of fixing some issues that are not being solved through troubleshooting, what exactly happens? Will I lose my library and customer lists?
You can go ahead and do a reset on your terminal with no worries. Your information is not stored on the terminal, it's on Square's servers. Personally, I believe that doing periodic resets is good for my equipment - I generally see an improvement in speed by doing it.
