Weebly Domain and adding a DNS CNAME - not saving

I am moving my Weebly domain (nessjones.com) to another platform and am trying to
add a DNS record.

Here is what I have done so far ...

1. Clicked on Add DNS record
2. Select type - CNAME
3. In Host put - www
4. Pointed to - nessjones.newzenler.com

But nothing is happening. And it doesn't appear to be working.

I am currently unable to access my website until I move it which is concerning from a business perspective. Can anyone help please?

Hi @NessJ!

From what you’ve described, it sounds like you’ve followed the steps to point your domain to another website, otherwise known as updating your domain's nameservers. However, if your goal is to fully transfer your domain out of Square/Weebly so it’s managed by another provider going forward, you’ll need to follow a slightly different process.

You can find the full steps to transfer your domain out of Square here.
