We purchased Square equipment, falling for the advertising that it's the perfect solution for small service-based businesses. We spent time and effort creating a website with appointments. We spent a long time configuring it, and now we need to launch promotional campaigns for the new business. As silly as it may sound, Square STILL hasn't introduced the ability to apply coupons on the booking site! It sounds so ridiculous that I couldn't believe it and spent two weekends trying to find a solution, but there simply isn't one!
I sent emails and called the hotline, but the result is the same – you cannot apply discounts or coupons on the appointment booking site! I can't offer a coupon to a customer, can't entice them to return with a discount, can't run promotions for holidays or events because Square hasn't set up such a simple and basic feature as discounts for customers!
I found posts in the community dating back to 2020, and it's been 4 years, yet this issue hasn't been fixed. This makes me doubt whether it will ever be implemented! I will leave Square if they can't even set up such a basic feature despite user requests.
