I recently imported customers to my Square account. I have a user who I would like to be able to accept payments for me in the field. When they go to add a customer to a sales receipt, the customer field is empty and entering the name in the search bar comes back "no customers found".
What settings do I need to change for them to connect a customer to a transaction?
@Stetson8872 1. is the customer in your customer directory on the dashboard? 2. if yes, do you have more than 1 location? 3. If yes, has the customer bought from you at that location?
The reason I ask is that square customers are pulled usually from a profile after you do business with them. The other thing to check is to make sure your employee has the permission to work with the customer directory. Let me know if this helps, and I am assuming it works when you are not in the field.
