When I go to an item to purchase, I can increase the quantities past the amount available.
Primarily, I only want to sell unique individual physical items (only one of each item), but want a shopping cart as well. When I go to an inventory item and click on the stock "-" symbol under the variations section, the pop-up says "available online (1)" and nothing is tracked yet. I then go to the item's store page and when purchasing, I can add a lot more than just one. So I went back to edit the item and set the tracking on (I don't even really need tracking, actually) and entered a quantity of 1 and saved the item to see if that would work. The stock shows up as "1", instead of "-" now. However, neither way seems to limit the quantity of an item that a customer can enter.
What am I doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I don't know what I did, but it's working now.
I think it might have had something to do with setting the inventory from the Weebly side vs. the Square side. I didn't understand that there was two different management systems to squareup.com. That's really confusing, to be honest. I also disabled a rogue location that got created somehow so maybe that had something to do with it. Regardless, it's working now.
Thank you for letting us know the update, we appreciate it.
