Transfer website form one square account o another

Has anyone else changed their business structure i.e. got a new ABN and had to open a new square account only to find that the ecosystem your were enticed to build your whole business on doesn't allow you to transfer your website over and you need to re-build the whole website?

It doesn't makes sense and I am furious that a company would entice you to build your business with them and then say - sorry not part of the deal. Changing a business structure admin wise often happens so we can't be the first business to be in this position. Square just says - its not part of their process - I feel mightily let down and down have a website that can't connect to a payment platform and vice versa. All we did was change out ABN!

so i now either have to pay someone to transfer it over or spend hours doing it myself whilst running a business and customers can't order our goods online!

I wish I had an alternative to offer you that would make this process easier, but unfortunately changing an ABN involves a business structure change that requires a new account to be created.
