Transfer amount less than expected

Today was my first time using Square. I opted for the first $1,000 with no service charge when I started. I have now used $123.40 of that 1,000.

 

Why does Square say I only have $121.24 to transfer?

 the refund of service charges is not always instantaneous. Sometimes it can be delayed a little while after a transaction is complete. 

also if you want to see the details of your sales, got m go to your dashboard > balance, then select your location. Scroll down to the balance overview section and click on the payment processing line to expand and see everything that affected your available balance. The answer should be there. 

one thing I can think of. Did you load a gift card by any chance? If so those fees are not refunded because of a free processing offer.

That's good to know about the service charge being refunded back. I didn't realize it would work like that. Now I know.

 

But I don't see Balance on my dashboard. The only way to see those were fees it to tap the Transfer button and there is the breakdown. I would think there would be another place where I could see a list of transactions with the total broken down to Sale and Service Charge.

@dogsnbeaches The balance page is found on your web dashboard > Banking > Balance.  Click on your location to open it up.  Your available balance is at the top.  Scroll down and you’ll see a section titled “Balance Overview.”  It will show today’s overview.  Click on the line “Payment Processing.” For now, this is where you go to find what you are asking for.
