As of last week, our square stand started printing our customer tickets without asking for the customer name at checkout....unless the customer only bought one item. If one item, it asks for a name; if more than one item, it does not ask for a name and prints an anonymous ticket. This is an exasperating problem for us. We need the name prompt to serve orders. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the square app, but no change.
Hi @jael - I recall a recently bug where tickets were not prompting for names but it was fixed with the most recent update. Have you checked if your app is updated?
Hi Justin, the first thing I did last week was check that it was up-to-date, and then I uninstalled and reinstalled square. It claims to be up-to-date. Should I try that again?
UPDATE: the software automatically updated on Friday and the bug is fixed. thanks.
