The reader i received doesn't fit my phone.  I have a Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. My order number is US-025393343Transaction date:7/1/2022

Click “More”

Click "I don't see my issue"

Click "Call Support"

Sorry you are having some compatibility issues!

 

Our readers with headset jack have the standard 3.5 mm headset plug and there aren’t variations in size.

 

But you can certainly try and use an adapter. Audio jack extenders or extension cables are not officially supported so we can’t guarantee compatibility, but some merchants have had success with the following:

 

iPhone/iPod AV Extension Cable
Card reader adapter
Sescom iAdapt iPhone/iPad TRRS Plug to TRRS Jack Adapter 

 

Another solution you might be interested in is the Square contactless and chip card reader that accepts contactless (NFC) payments and chip cards. This reader pairs wirelessly with supported devices, so you don’t have to worry about extensions or adapters.
