Can you let me know what happened? While we offer a 2-year warranty on all Square Terminals, if this was due to accidental damage, purchasing a new Terminal would be necessary.

The screen stopped displaying anything. It's black. Except for a glow art the edge and a couple of blotches under the glass.
I don't know if it's still under warranty - I can't find where to look at the purchase when I log into my account.
I was not asking for Square to repair it in the question. I was hoping that maybe an independent tech might offer repair services.
But if it is under warranty still then that would be a bonus

If there is an issue with the display then it will likely fall under warranty, depending on when you purchased it.
Can you give our support team a call? They will be able to check the shipping history and run through the details of the warranty flow if it is eligible.

Thanks for your message.
I've already contacted customer support and they will be emailing me when they have checked against the serial number.
I'm pretty disappointed that there is no repair service for out of warranty items. Even by a third party technician. After all, it's essentially a smartphone repurposed.
I'll just keep my fingers crossed that it's under warranty!
