Over the last couple weeks we've started to have errors accessing customer activity history through the customer page on our terminals.
Navigating to customers > selecting a customer > scrolling to activity history > selecting a transaction. About 60 percent of the time, the terminal screen goes completely black before illuminating again with the Square logo and top bar of device status icons. Then the device requires a login, and often times resets and has to load the terminal for up to a minute. This occurs on both terminals we have.
Thoughts on this error we're experiencing?
@alpineascents Thanks for letting us know you're experiencing this issue. We haven't seen other reports of this — but it's certainly strange it's happening on both devices.
Can you try these troubleshooting steps on both Terminals? If you're still experiencing this issue, then reset each Terminal. If resetting doesn't resolve this, please don't hesitate to call our support team so a hardware specialist can investgate further!
