Hi there, i've added my items and set up tax settings, but when i've ran a test transaction the VAT is not showing up, either on the order, or on sales reports. I've checked i've enabled tax, and also applied to the items, but the reports are just showing the full cost with no tax breakdown. Could you help? Thanks 😊
Hi @UrbanGreen, thanks for writing in! I can definitely help with this - can you let me know if you are testing a payment through the Square Point of Sale app or through your website?
If it's through your website, you actually need to set the tax again to make sure they are applied correctly. You can do so by going to Settings > Taxes on your website's dashboard. You can read more about setting up taxes online here.

Hi, i've set up the taxes through the website, settings/taxes but it still isn't coming through
I've found the other section in the website dashboard and i have set up one tax rate again, but we have two differing tax rates based on the product type - 20% and 5% - i've entered the standard 20% but when i try to add another tax rate the UK does not come up in the country list. Can you advise? thanks, Jill
At the moment, it isn't possible to setup multiple tax rates on the website @UrbanGreen. However, if your items are available for pickup or delivery, you can enable the Use itemised taxes option. This means the system will be able to apply either 20% or 5% tax to your items as you have set up in the other section.
