Tap to Pay setup

Tap to Pay just started working one day on my Husbands iphone but I cannot get it on mine. My iphone is newer than his, up to date. square is up to date but the option to turn it on (after following instructions) just isn't there. I have even logged into my phone with his login but it still not showing. really frustrating as my card reader never connects first time and Im always having to restart the app to get it connected. any ideas ?

edit : I have just read this .... 'After you download the Square Point of Sale app, you’ll be prompted to connect your Apple ID. Once that’s done, you’re ready to accept contactless payments with Tap to Pay on iPhone' 
This didn't happen and I have deleted and reinstalled and I've still not been prompted to do this ?

Hey @ClaireTee - once that Apple ID bit is done the first time it shouldn't need to be done again. Unfortunately I'm not a lot of help as all I can advise would be to do what you've already done! 

@Breffni or @Lou8 - can you shed any light on this one? Unfortunately this one's been left sitting for a few days.
