Tap to Pay compatability

Hi,

 

Could I ask how often the Android compatability list is updated for Tap to Pay?

 

I have a Xiaomi Note 12 Pro released in May 2023 and I can see that the Note 8 to 11 Pro's are compatible but not the 12 or 13 and it's the same with some of the other phones with more recent versions not shown?

 

Is it worth me waiting for it to be updated or am I best to look into other options?

There are several thousand devices on the market, and we aim to support them all. In some cases, however, the device may meet all the requirements for compatibility but still not communicate properly with Square software. 

 

We are constantly developing our software and updating compatible devices on the compatibility page, but I don't have specific insights into when the page will be updated, unfortunately.
