Start another square account in a different country

I know that I can't use Square outside of the country it's registered in.  Mine is registered in the US, but I'm frequently in the UK and would like to accept credit card sales here.  Can I "work around" the limitation by setting up a Square account based in the UK, using my WISE bank account?  Although I started the WISE account from the US, it's an international bank and I accept and make payments to UK businesses and people through it, in British pounds.  Unfortunately, you can't accept credit card payments with WISE, so I'm hoping I can get something working with Square.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @therealex!

This is a great question. Some of the things I would consider is online checkout, yes the customer will be charged in USD rather than GBP, however many banks no longer charge additional conversion fees over here (Certain Natwest accounts, Monzo, Starling, Revolut, and more and more).

Alternatively if you have the correct documentation to work in the UK, you should be able to open a Square account over here too! You may also need a UK address, however you may be able to use a ghost address for this (not sure).
