Square terminal issues:
At first, the terminal would not load past 0%. I performed a factory reset by holding down the button for the necessary amount of time for the countdown, and released it when instructed. Upon reboot, I reprogrammed it with time zone, Wi-Fi, etc; it then loaded to 100% - but then it freezes.
I did a second factory reset, hoping it might 'take'. It did not. Reprogrammed it again with all necessary info; it loaded to 100% - then nothing, same as above. It's stuck on "Loading Square Terminal 100%".
If I power cycle it after the factory reset, it then gets stuck on "Loading Square Terminal 0%". It'll go to 100% (and then get stuck) only if I factory reset and reprogram it when rebooting.
I'm able to get in and process transactions on my phone, which I use with WiFi (only) at work, as cell signal is abysmal here - but I as I don't have a card reader for my phone, I know I'm paying a high percentage for any 'card absent' / manual card entry sales. I am primarily making a note of this so it's understood that it's not my account... it's not our WiFi. The terminal won't go past 'Loading Square Terminal', and I can't get to any update software settings or whatnot (if indeed that might be the issue). The battery is also fully charged.

Happy to have you join The Seller Community! I am sorry you are experiencing issues with Square Terminal though.
Since you have gone through some troubleshooting like factory resetting, I would suggest a warranty.
