Square terminal password requirement

Hello, 

I use my card terminal everyday, it has just started asking me for my password every time I try to access then "Money" option

Is there a way to turn this off, remember this is a password requirement not a passcode.

Hey there, @cabinetroom - 

Just to confirm - are you signed in as the account owner on your Terminal? And you mention it's required when whenever you try to click "Money" - would this be when you're trying to take a new payment or look at previous transactions? 

From what it sounds like, it seems like an issue or change with permissions. Take a look at how they're set up on your Dashboard. Take a look at these settings and circle back with me if you're still having issues.

Normal, as they now file the Square Card under "Money" and its a requirement for extra authentication due to SCA.
