Square temporary locked my account to make sure it’s me but it’s always been me so what is going on

Square has temporarily locked my account to make sure it’s me but it’s always been me and now I get a payment it’s locked what is goin on

@Tko72784 For privacy reasons, we here in the Community can not possibly know exactly what is going on with your account.  But, there are possibilities.  For example, your account might show attempted and failed access in places or on devices not previously associated with it.  Someone might have hacked your credentials but is unable to get past two-factor authorization.  For sure, something has caused a red flag to be raised and Square is just trying to ensure the security of your account and your money.  Yes, it is a pain not to have access to funds while you are going through this, but it could be worse if someone else DOES get access to your funds.

 

Anyway just follow the steps they give you and it should get resolved soon enough.

This happened to me on Friday I sent my id across within minutes of receiving my email saying my payments were stopped till they checked id I’ve emailed them tried calling and even there web chat and still nothing it’s a nightmare
