Square register - one tap add to basket

Hi on the Square mobile app, when you select an item it adds it straight to basket.

on the Register, when i tap the item, i get a pop up about the item first, i then have to select the quantity and then "add to basket"

I want is it just tap the item and it goes straight into the basket? is that possible?

Which software version are you using on the Square Register? Square Point of Sale, Square for Retail, Square for Restaurants or another? 

If you are using Square for Retail, can you check if you are using the new version of Retail which has a grid view? 

1. From your home screen, tap ≡ More > Settings > Checkout.

2. Then, tap Upgrade to the new Retail Point of Sale to begin the upgrade.

I am testing on an iPad but the quantity button is not required, and the checkout should be the same on both the iPad and the Register.
