Hello.I’ve been using the Square chip and pin reader for over a year and it’s been working great.Last week the Contactless payment option disappeared from the options.
When I select the amount and press Charge,it gives me the option with insert card.The contactless option isn’t in the menu anymore.
I can still take card payments and do payment links
I already contacted support,we’ve gone to the troubleshooting,they sent me a new device,but the issue persists.
Does anybody know how to re-enable the contactless option

I'm sorry to hear that it has been an issue that brought you here, but I'll be happy to assist.
From the screenshot you attached it seems like tap (contactless) payments are still available, as it indicates to tap or insert a card.
But I also see the Insert in card reader message above. Does that appear right after you press the Charge button? Or after attempting to tap the card on your Reader?
If it appears after attempting to tap a card, the NFC technology on the card may have been damaged.
I would recommend testing with a different card or a digital wallet, like Apple Pay or Google Pay.

It appears as soon as I press Charge.
Contactless still doesn’t work,as when’s available there’s an green light on the reader.
I’ve gone through all troubleshooting steps multiple times,deleted and reinstalled the app and also received a new device.Not sure how to fix it at this point.
