We’re looking for ideas to make printing receipts quicker and easier for staff. Here’s some background information…
We currently have 2 square stands which each have a connected square terminal (for contactless & chip and pin payments only). The receipt screen is skipped to offer a quick turnaround. Unfortunately when we left it down to the customer to choose if they want a receipt or not, we found that customers either didn’t take notice and still ask us for a receipt or they wouldn’t click anything which means we’d have to reach over the counter to click ‘no receipt’ before we was able to serve the next customer.
As a work around, we purchased another Square Terminal which we use to only print receipts, we do this by clicking transaction > find the transaction > print new receipt. This is doable, but on a busy day it’d be so much easier if we could set up this terminal as some kind of print station. So receipts are automatically printed on this terminal if we choose to print a receipt from our square stand.
