Square Team app version 5.0.1 is broken.

My staff are updating to version 5.0.1 of the Square Team app and now the 'Rota' and 'Timecards' screens are not accessible as the buttons at the bottom of the screen have disappeared.

 

This is happening on a number of different iOS and Android devices.

Hi @TheLemonTree, thanks for flagging this. 

 

We did have an issue last week where the email or push notification that takes the employee to their timecard in Team App has instead been taking them to a “Page not found” error. 

They would have still been able to manually navigate to the page, though.

 

Our engineers marked this issue as resolved last week. Can you try deleting and reinstalling the app on all devices as the fix would have been part of a software update?

I've tried deleting and re-installing the app on multiple devices. Devices that have version 5 are working ok but any that updated to 5.0.1 are not.

 

It's not a 'Page not found error' - it's specifically that the buttons located at the bottom of the screen for 'Rota' and 'Timecards' are missing.

 

I have a video of those buttons working correctly on a device, updating to 5.0.1 and then they are not there. If you have an email address I can send it to I will.

Yes, the best bet here would be to get the video to our support team and they will likely have our engineers take a look.
