Square Dashboard returning error when updating custom_attributes on items

I am unable to update the values of custom_attributes on items while using the Square Dashboard since Friday May 8th. The Square Dashboard returns a red error message at the top of the screen.

Viewing the console logs I see a "index.js:1734 CatalogService.batch error Error: object with token **************** had invalid reason DUPLICATE_ATTRIBUTE"

To clarify, this is the Square Dashboard itself - not my code.

This occurs both in the sandbox Square Dashboard and production Square Dashboard

Hey @Corim thanks for posting! This sounds like a potential browser issue. Have you tried clearing your cache? And which browser are you using?

Also, does this happen with only a specific item or every item when you attempt to edit them?

I reached out to the Square contact form for developers and they have confirmed this is an issue and that they are working on it.

@Corim I'm glad they were able to confirm that for us. Hopefully it is resolved soon.
