I'm on the verge of losing a client because they tried to pay for their appointment while in dark mode on their iPhone (Firefox). The payment was processed on his end, but the appointment was not scheduled, and the payment did not go towards my business. We believe it was a problem due to his phone being in dark mode.

I'm happy to help but I am a little confused about the situation...when I did a Google Search for your booking site, the site I found is through Acuity scheduling, not Square Appointments. Do you happen to have another booking site that is through Square Appointments?
Additionally, I'm not sure how the customer successfully completed the payment without the funds being attributed to you. Unfortunately, we're not able to look into your Square account and transactions here in the Seller Community. I would advise you to reach out to our Support Team to take a look into the payment.
