Skip detail screen in Point of Sale

I've created a modifier that I want to use on the online store but have turned off when scanning items via the square stand (our POS). 

This modifier will rarely be used in person so we want it to be turned off.

I know how to do it per item. However, I want to make a bulk change and not have to edit every single little thing. Is there a way to turn on the "skip detail screen" as default for every item?

Just dug around in my demo account and it looks like there isn't a way to set skip detail screen option as a default, nor can this action apply to all modifiers in bulk. For now, you'll need to go into each item to make adjustments.

Ok, we'll do it the hard way and wait for Square to work their magic and make it better.

I was just searching for an answer to this. We really need some better feature updates like bulk edit items.

You maybe able to do this by exporting all your items to a spreadsheet and then adding that change to a list of items and then importing again.  I have made bulk changes for other things this way.  @PoppedCork
