Server issue

Since two weeks ago, Square is not reliable. Everytime I work during the weekend it shows me Server Issue, it has problems connecting the reader...

I have first and second generation reader and it's happening with both in different phones.

 

Anyone's is having the same issue? 

 

It's scary every time I have to charge a customers, sometimes we are really busy and make us loose clients.

Welcome to the community, and sorry to see that it’s issues with your Readers that’s brought you here. I can imagine how disruptive this would be when you're busy. 


As this behavior is occurring across more than one phone and more than one Reader, the first things I’d be inclined to check are device compatibility and your network connectivity.


If you haven’t already, could you please run through the troubleshooting steps here, after checking that the devices you are using are supported. You can check this, and view devices with known issues on our device compatibility page


If the same issues persist after running through the standard troubleshooting, could you let me know the following, so I can dig a little deeper:

 

  • Make and model of the phones you’ve been using.
  • iOS / Android version running on the devices.
  • Serial Number on the Readers.


If you could also provide some screenshots of the errors you encounter, that would be much appreciated.
