I have about 500 annual memberships with different renewal dates. Can I send scheduled invoices based on date?
@Bcrp Are you wanting something more than you can get by setting up recurring invoices? You can set up a recurring series, even different ones for different types of memberships/renewals, save them as templates and then use them to create invoices for each customer. I don’t know of a way to do that for multiple customers at once, so it will be labor intensive at first. But, after that, it should take care of itself.
Sounds like i would have to create a new separate invoice for each customer, time consuming but only have to do once. They would be custom invoices.
i wonder if i should create separate csv files for each membership date and type?
I’m not sure if that would help you. I know of no import function for invoices, currently. I could see where that could be a very useful feature in situations like yours — download a template, fill it in on your spreadsheet app, then upload it. You should put in a feature request, for sure — https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Feature-Requests/ct-p/Beta-Feature-Requests
As I said, you could create templates for each membership type, filling in the stuff that stays the same. Then create invoices from templates, adding customer info, dates, etc. That’s all I can see that would speed the initial work up a little.
