Hello fellow Square Register system users,
We had the following issues recently:
After calling square support we decided to reboot the machines. During the reboot, it became apparent that there were 2 updates for the customer display that needed to be done. These updates needed to happen on both of our square register systems.
Now that I've run the reboots, I'm hoping that all of our troubling issues go away. I'm writing this here because our registers are set to do automatic updates, they are on all night, and there's no reason the updates weren't completed automatically. I think it's a glitch in the square system.
So if you are having any of these issues, try doing a reboot of your system. This is not the same as turning the power off and on or restarting. A reboot is different. Call your square support team and have them walk you through it. Make sure you have your login credentials and your wifi credentials handy before you do it.
