Sales Summary Report

The sales summary report - we need the ability to compare apples with apples - meaning when the report says: 

TIME OF DAY

Gross sales today are $284.94. So far this is up 26.43% from the closest Friday the previous year.

This gives us absolutely nothing. We need to know today's date vs last year's same date - July 3rd to July 3rd. When doing sales forecasting - this is essential to know.

Thanks for posting in the Seller Community.

I want to make sure I understand what you're looking for here. Are you referring to when you go to Reports > Sales Summary, and then are you viewing a Summary, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly report? 

I see the example you put there, and I know that information is retrievable, but are you hoping to be able to compare them on the same screen/page without having to generate a separate report?
