Reporting questions

I have recently taken over some operations responsibilities for a company using Square.  I am a little surprised by how limited the reporting is.  Does anyone have any suggestions for direct database access apps/tools that they are using to overcome this?  Are there any direct query tools supported?  Thank you.

If you are looking to get deep into analyzing sales data your best bet is to download your data and analyze it in Excel or Apple Numbers

I export a lot of my sales data to Excel and then use Power Query to get the data in different formats for easy integrations or to view as charts or Pivot Tables to find things quickly.    reports are you looking for specifically?  I also use my integrations with QuickBooks and then use QuickBooks for reports.  For me Square is just one source for tracking my stores revenues while QuickBooks keeps track of all my income and expenses.
