Hey @andywhy.
The logic of processing a refund on the Square Register would be the same as any other Square device, be it the app or Terminal.
Any refund you want to process would need to attach to a transaction that you have taken payment for. It's not currently possible to process a manual or custom refund.
To issue a refund from your Square Register:
- From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap Transactions.
- Locate the transaction to refund and tap Issue Refund.
- Enter the full pound amount, items, or the partial amount to refund.
- Tap Next.
- Select a reason for the refund > tap Refund.
