Rearranging items on category pages

Is anyone having trouble putting items on category pages into the order they want?

It always used to work fine, but over the last few weeks I've found that whenever I try to drag and drop items in the list, they just snap back to their original position.

If anyone has had similar problems and found a solution, I'd really appreciate hearing it.

Hey @Ben_Deutsch, thank you for bringing this to our attention. That definitely sounds strange. 

 

If you are trying to rearrange your items within your Square Online overview page, it may be that our website has encountered an issue with your browser.

 

Here are a few troubleshooting tips you can try:

  1. Make sure your browser is up to date.
  2. Log out and back into your account. 
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Clear the cache on your browser. Access the Help menu of your browser to locate step-by-step instructions.
  5. Switch to a supported browser, such as Google Chrome.

Let me know how you get on with the above. If the issue persists, we can have another look into it for you.

Thanks Skyler.

 

I've tried all those steps. So far, it hasn't helped.

 

On the "Shop all" page, I'm able to rearrange the items however I like.

 

But on any other category page, when I set the arrangement to "Custom", the website just seems to decide an order, and won't let me change them.

 

I normally use Chrome, but I also get the same problem when I use Firefox.

Thanks for trying those steps out for me, @Ben_Deutsch. That definitely sounds strange. Could you provide a link to your website, as well as providing an example of which items and which categories you're trying to rearrange?
