Quickbooks is not receiving data from my second Square location. Only the first one.

Hello,

We have recently opened our second food truck (YUS!) and I use Quickbooks Online to keep track of our expenses and deposits from sales. Everything has worked fine until we added location #2. It does not seem like Square sends the sale information to Quickbooks.

it Appears that quickbooks allows for multiple locations to be added from Square but the data is not being sent from location #2.

For instance, when I see a deposit of on my bank account $1,000 from location #1, I can "match" this to a deposit that Square has told QBO that $1000 in sales were sent. Aka it's basically automated. But with our recent Location #2 deposits, no data comes up to "match" it.

Quickbooks Online seems to be ready for multiple location integration but Square is not sending this information over. Do I need to create another Quickbooks online account or perhaps another bank account that location #2 sends money to?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Jorge

Hi hi @Ragingtacoslv - sorry to see trouble has brought you to the Seller Community

Some of this does sound off, but it's difficult to pinpoint what may be happening from our end. I did find this page where a Quickbooks moderator responded to someone with a similar question. A few members of the QuickBooks Team confirmed and chimed in with advice throughout the thread. It looks like the original poster ended up using Commerce Sync to accomplish what they were looking to do.

Yes!  I finally have a solution - Commerce Sync!  I was using Sync with Square, and it works great, but only for one location.  From the Square Dashboard, click on Apps on the left side, and search for Commerce Sync.  It is $10/location/month, but well worth it.  I still have my first location set up with Sync with Square, but will change that over soon.  I had some initial questions on how to set it up, and import previous transactions.  I spoke with Justin, one of the developers at Commerce Sync, and he got everything straightened out in a day.

I hope this helps!
