Hi @HennesseyHand. Like you, I figured there had to either be a direct way to do this, or at least a way to add embedded code into product pages to do this. However, after nearly an hour trying various approaches, I also hit a roadblock. It does not seem that there is a way to do this, currently, in Square Online. There might be a way if you are using Weebly, but I don’t use Weebly much so I really can’t tell you, if so.
Anyway, I hit enough walls that all I can suggest is this. If you posted because you wanted to do more than just state that “Square is way behind the times on this,” you can submit a formal feature request here to the Square Online team. They will review it and follow up with you. If you decide to submit a feature request, please come back here and post the URL to it. I, for one, would love to support/upvote it, and I’m pretty sure I know a group of people who would also be interested and I’d share it with them. After all, the more interest in a feature request, the more likely it will get put on the roadmap!
FYI, I did try to review the current feature requests for Square Online to see if there was one already. Like you, I can’t believe another Square sellers hasn’t asked for this before. But, if there is such a request, I am not seeing it. Feel free to look around before you submit one. But if there is one, the moderators of that board should catch it and merge them together, I think.
Anyway, I’m sorry that I couldn’t come up with something more immediate and satisfying.
