Problems with Button X with a duplicated website

I have created a duplicate of my Weebly website in order to make major changes, with the intention of replacing my live website. Most of it is coming along fine, but I'm having troubles with my buttons, originally created through Button X. I can't move a button from one page to another without losing the design features of the button. The links and wording for the buttons remain but they're no longer have the shape, color, and shadings I had before.

When I click on a button to try to recreate the color design and shape, I get a series of screens that appear to suggest I’ll be able to get into the design features, yet in the end indicate I need to buy the program I already bought years ago. Furthermore, the name on the account that shows is not me.

Is there something I’m doing wrong, or do I need to repurchase Button X or what?

Probably your best option is to contact the people behind Button X for possible help.  They do have a support link.  Ever since Square purchased Weebly there has been some gray areas between the two businesses for people who originally setup sites with Weebly and now are working with Square.  Square's intent was for people with no knowledge of HTML or Scripting to be able to build a website easily for selling online and purchasing Weebly was part of their plan because Weebly had the tools in place to that.  Some things that originally worked with Weebly may not work with a new Square website.   This is just my thoughts of course and the community volunteers here are not the same as Tech or Customer Support.  Most of us are small business owners who have hands on knowledge using Square's Apps and Hardware.  It's possible that someone in the Developer's Forum may have some thoughts as these individuals are more into coding and building Square websites, you may want to ask there too.
