Printed receipt shows " A " in front of Sales Tax

our printed receipt shows the letter " A" in front of CA Sales Tax on all of our printed receipts. But on the ipad and transaction history, it just shows CA Sales Tax. 

This started happening after I changed the names ; sales tax to CA sales tax.

someone please advise what this means and how to remove the " A"

This is strange. 

There isn't a setting that could cause this, except if you accidentally added the A to the tax name, but then it would show the same way on digital receipts/transaction history. 

I would recommend resetting the connection between your printer and your iPad.

If this continues to be an issue, contacting our direct support team would be best, as they will be able to look into your account settings and, if necessary, create a ticket for our engineers to look into it.

This is still an issue. It's still printing the A in front of our printed receipts. 

We have had several confused customers asking about this now. 

COuld you please have the team look into this?

looks like the error has resolved itself without help or intervention from Square Support team. phew
