I have only one product to sell at a convention. I’m just setting up my Square account so I might be missing something but each time I select the product, the number keyboard pops up and I have to manually input the price. Where can I set it up so the price comes up automatically?
Hello @Deecool81 ! Welcome to the Square Community!
You can input the price of your item via the item editor.
From your web dashboard: Dashboard -> Items. Click on your product then scroll down to the section labeled Variations. You'll see a Price box here. Put your product's price in here.
From your app: More -> Items -> All Items. Tap on your product then input your price in the Price and Inventory section.
Hope this helps!
Since you created your Item, did you ever assign a Price to the item? The Keypad pops up for you because Square does not know how much the item is selling for. When you create the item assign a Price for it. The price here is the amount you would sell your Item for, and cost is how much the Item costs you to purchase. By assiining the price to the item in Square this items price will not need to be enetered for each transaction.
If you go to your Items Library on a computer to this: https://app.squareup.com/dashboard/items/library
Then click on your one item and change the price from $0.00 to the amount you want to sell your product for.
