Preorder and pay at pickup

I need the ability to take phone call orders, enter them in the system, have them print and have an order number WITHOUT the customer prepaying. We sell custom bakery items and customers pay upon pickup of the item. It would be so helpful to enter the order as a preorder and then have an option to pay at pickup. 

 

Any suggestions/apps/hacks? We really need a solution before our busy season. Currently, if I enter an order, and the customer does not pay - it does not print for our "kitchen" (bakery) and does not have an order number - therefore it would never get made. 

 

Any tips or tricks as I'm sure so many people face orders days, weeks, months ahead and customers prefer to pay at pickup.

With Open Tickets, you can create, save, and edit an order before completing a sale on your iPad or Android tablet. You can also print a bill before closing a ticket.

Hi I appreciate the response - the problem with open orders is there is no way to text the user that their order is "in progress" or "ready" like when the user orders online. We can mark them but it is not notifying the customer unless they have paid, si that accurate? Thank you!
