Payment won't process stating offline mode, but when i go to settings, offline mode is turned off.

I use square from my phone. I am trying to process a payment. I have typed in the amount and selected Charge, however when the next screen pops up, where I would typically pick Manual Credit Card Entry and it is grayed out says (Online Only). I have gone to settings and made sure that offline mode is turned off. I am also certain that my phone is currently online, as it is getting online info from all other apps and programs. Why is this happening, and what can I do to fix it?

Hi @BethanyJNC!

 

So that message doesn't come up because of offline mode but because the app needs internet connection.

 

It's best to run off WiFi or a hotspot but if you are in an area with no internet- it'd be best to actually enable offline mode.

 

How is the internet where you are?
