Payment link image size

Hello.

This is my first full day with Square Up after having problems with Stripe, PayPal and others.

I created:

https://checkout.square.site/merchant/ML1QW77F6MSY5/checkout/S5SDWXHQJDO2GX6DW25FD35C

Could anybody tell me what the image size should be?

Thanks!

Sarah

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community, Sarah!

It’s great to see you’ve already had support from one of our Square Champions. Thanks for sharing what’s been tried, tested and working well for you @Sam_400º!

Just to add to Sams advice, I’d recommend double-checking that your image meet the following specifications:

  • Ideal photo dimensions should be square (same width and height) and 2,560 x 2,560 pixels.
  • Your images should be either .png or .jpeg files.
  • Images can be up to 20 MB in size, but less than 500 KB is optimal.

If your payment link image doesn’t seem quite right after checking the above @lime_tech_uk, just let me know and I’ll ask our eCom team to take a closer look.

Hey Sarah - it's just in a 1:1 format so a Square image is all good.

I size mine at 1024px and let the backend take care of the dynamics. At that size it's never too big a file but also big enough to not pixelate on any device.

Welcome to Square!
