Hi,
We teach classes during the summer months...they are expensive and we had in the past been allowing our students to use the subscription plan option to make monthly installments. We've had to stop as it's become a logistical nightmare. Students letting their cards cards lapse etc.
We've been trying out Afterpay, but it really doesn't seem to be working. Our course amounts are too high to do anything but send invoices and they don't seem to work.
Does anyone else have a suggestion for a third party app or company that does payment plans we can integrate through Square?
Hey @mistymeadows — I know it’s frustrating not to have landed on a solid solution yet, and I really appreciate you sticking with this.
I took a look through our App Marketplace and found a few options, including one called PayWhirl. I’ll be upfront that I don’t have direct feedback from sellers who’ve used it, but it could be worth exploring to see if it meets your needs. I’ll also tag a few other sellers here who may have more insight to share @DinaLRosenberg @Minion

HI @mistymeadows and thanks for the tag @MayaP . I've never used Square Subscriptions, so I'm not sure of how much of a nightmare that may have caused you, nor do I use Afterpay or any 3rd party apps that would take more of a % a way from my sales. The only thing I could possibly thing of and recommend would be maybe giving the payment schedule with Square Invoicing a look into? My only fear for you is that it may possibly be similar to the subscription option that you were using prior.
Whoops — my apologies! I tagged you because I saw you had replied on another Afterpay thread. Thanks so much for jumping in with a solution anyway, I really appreciate it! 😊
No worries at all, hopefully we can help them come up with a solution!
We use Afterpay although it's $$$
Unfortunately you may need to take it off Square and invoice via PayPal as they also have a pay in 4/installment loan option.
You can still bookkeep via square and register it as another payment source- that's what we do when we take a Venmo payment.
Nice, thanks for sharing this!
