Partial payment on open tickets.

Can we please get the option to take  a partial payment on a open ticket? Its 2025 and this is a crucial option that we need to run our business smoothly. I have seen multiple people asking for this feature. And no sending a invoice will not work.

There is the split payment option, however it requires everybody to pay at the same time to close out the transaction and the ticket. There's no way to save the first payment or second payment and then finalize it later. 

We have also hoped for the ability to save the open ticket after each payment for the times when somebody finishes at the table first and wants to pay while the others are still finishing.
