Difficulty deleting item categories for website. On the hub it no longer shows the ones I deleted from that screen, but under website editor it's still showing the categories I deleted on the main hub page and will not let me delete from the website editor page. When I try to delete the unwanted categories under website editor it just pops up with the loading icon and does nothing after multiple minutes. Not sure what to do. Please advise.

What type of website have you created, e.g. Order Online (restaurant features) or Shop All (retail features)?
Depending on your template, this will change where you need to be to edit your site categories.
You won’t be able to edit existing categories from within the editor if you’re using the Order Online ordering page template. Instead, edit categories from your Square Online Overview page in Items > Site Categories and changes will automatically appear on the Order Online page.
If you're not seeing the changes come through, try un-publish and publish your site again to see if this can trigger the changes to sync online.

My site is online ordering however it isn't published yet at all. The online overview page under site categories (that's what I was referring to by the hub) is where I deleted the unwanted categories originally. Since the site isn't published yet then I wonder if when I do publish, the unwanted categories will just disappear then. Thank you

Possibly, but we should see those changes come into effect even in editing mode, without having published your site.
Another thing to try is to log out of your Square account, clear your browser history and then log back in to see if the changes are now showing in your draft mode.
