NO Taxes applied to Online Checkout

Taxes are not being applied at the online checkout.  There are two tax rates that I entered County and a Civic tax.  I read all the help articles and cannot get it to work.

Hi JJ,

kca-105597.square.site

Here is the link.   It is not the Flynn Creek Circus, it's the events below it.

Thank you!

Jennifer

Hi there @KCA1

I was able to look into this for you and it looks like the item "Wild Flower Hike" is configured as Tax Exempt.  I recommend visiting the item from the Square Online Store Items section and making sure that Tax Exempt is not selected.

I unchecked the box and the taxes are still not applied.  Can you check again?

Thank you,

Jennifer

I just entered my address as if I was purchasing and the tax popped up.  However, I need the tax to be a specific tax because all events take place at the same location, Kirkwood, CA .  The tax for this town is Alpine County tax 7.5% & Civic tax 3.25% that should be applied to all purchases.

Thanks for the reply @KCA1

This looks like something our support team might need to assist with so they can aid in making sure your settings are accurate. Do keep in mind that Square isn't able to offer Tax guidance but we can definitely make sure that our Sales Tax settings are adjusted to meet your business needs.
