My square terminal is not on the list of devises on my POS Stand

I connected terminal to the internet and it is set to passcode. I go to settings, hardware on no square terminal listed?

Are you trying to connect your Terminal to the Stand as a customer display or something else?

Spinning my stand around isn't an option. I already owned the square terminal and I was told it was compatible. I used it once playing around before I got the stand without the stand it linked and worked. Now the I pad is in the stand it will not. I wanted to use it for customers to pay and get paper receipts
