My daily Inventory by Category not updating after Close of Day

Hi, I am relatively new to using Square so I apologize if this is a silly question but why isn't my daily Inventory by Category updating regularly after my official close of day ?

At this time the Inventory by Category is programmed to update daily. Its purpose is comparing the data from the previous two reports to show the cumulative value of your inventory by category – it includes your total inventory value, potential profit, and profit margin by item category.
