How do I know if a check was approved for processing? I have deposited 2 checks. The first check came back as declined due to a typo in the check amount and resubmitted. Aside from that email, I have only received a email confirming that the deposit was received and is processing (which I received with the first check and then the declined email came through about a hour later). I am used to other banks confirming that the check was also approved/accepted via email just so you know there was no issues with the check not necessarily saying that the check was approved and will clear.. helps for peace of mind..

This is one of those times where no news is good news. You'll be alerted to any issues with the check as it gets processed, but Square doesn't alert when the funds are in your account.
I do think this is worthy of a feature request though! I recommend heading over to the Ideate section of this website and submitting it. It does make complete sense for us to be alerted to approved and cleared checks.
