Missing tap to pay option

Tap to pay used to pop up when I hit charge so I could take chip or apple or Google pay directly on my phone. Now it says conn CT to hardware to accept payment. Please advise. Where did "tap to pay" go?

Would you be able to double-check these settings below within your device, please?

  • If you are connected to internet, please ensure that offline mode is turned off. To do so, please follow these steps: More > Settings > Checkout > Offline Payments.
  • You will also want to make sure that Tap to Pay is enabled on your device under: More > Settings > Account > Tap to Pay on iPhone.

 

Are you just experiencing this issue with one device? If so, is it an iPhone?

I've done a few things to help for the situation like this.
1. Go to Setting>About phone>Software information>Build number (hit 7 times)>Confirm pattern
2. Go back to Setting>Developer options (New after step 1)
3. Un-mark (for disable) Developer options
4. Restart the phone (Android)
5. Go back to Square and charge again (There is 'Tap to Pay' button for the option appears)

However, it works but it doesn't work again. This issue has to be addressed and technically fix ASAP!
