Messages Plus - Sending duplicate messages or not sending at all

Is anyone having a problem with the messages plus feature? I subscribed because it is easier communicating with clients BUT one client just called to tell me she received the same message multiple times. I tried testing by sending a message to my personal phone and it didn't go through at all. Chat is of no help and I can't get an agent on the phone. I was planning to use Square payroll but after seeing how hard it is to get an agent on the phone, I am second guessing myself.
